Public Art, Collaborations, and Events
Virtual Hug was part of a large guerrilla art installation in the winter and spring of 2020. The installation took place in the north end of Boise. The installations purpose was to help elevate the sense of fear and encourage neighborhood compassion for each other during the Covid-19 lock down. Over 70 images were stapled on telephone poles through out the neighborhoods. The installation came down in June 2020 when I invited the community to take the image off the poles if they would like to have them. With in a few days all but five images had been removed.
